Located on the southern most tip of the Miura Peninsula, is the “Small Retail Forest” that stands out as a natural forest preserving stunning landscapes and biodiversity, as well as eco-tourism sightseeing spots. It is a treasure trove of nature where more than 2000 types of living things in the forest, tide and the sea together. The area of ​​the green area is about 70 acres, and the forest has a river flowing to the sea while forming mounds in the mountainous wetlands and estuaries, and more. In the watershed, diverse animals and plants, including rare species, are found inhabiting the basin.
