Yokosuka Iris Garden
This is one of the nation’s leading hanashobu (Japanese iris) places. From the end of May to the end of June, 412 varieties of 140 thousand irises are in full bloom and is the best time to see them. In June there is a celebration for the irises called “Hanashobu Festival”. The park is also known as a place to see wisteria. The best time to see these flowers are from the end of April to the beginning of May. You can see 11 beautiful varieties of 250 wisteria plants.
