A nature exploration event "Let's observe the creatures on the rocky shore" will be held at Odawara.
“Let’s observe the creatures of the rocky shore”, an event of the Nature Exploration Society that considers the richness of nature and life, will be held in the sea of Odawara.
Observe the tide pools that form when the tide is low and the creatures behind the rocks and stones on the coast. Why don’t you catch various creatures such as starfish, crabs, shellfish and fish that live on the rocky shore?
Date and time: Saturday, July 2, 2022 9: 00 (meeting) -14: 00 (dissolution)
* Light rain will be carried out. Canceled in case of stormy weather.
* In case of cancellation, we will contact you by the evening of the previous day.
Meeting place: Course: JR Nebukawa Station (meeting) -Enoura Fishing Port (observation) -JR Nebukawa Station (dissolution)
* It takes about 30 minutes on foot to move one way.
Lecturer: Hajime Issugi (Director of Ooi Nature Park, Chairman of Local Culture Museum Council)
Target: 4th grade to junior high school students (parents are welcome)
Capacity: 15 people (first-come-first-served basis)
Participation fee: Free
How to apply: Please apply by phone to the Local Culture Museum in Odawara City. (Telephone number: 0465-23-1377)
What to bring / Clothing: Athletic shoes that can get wet (because you can get in the water and walk on rocks. Slip-ons are prohibited), military hands, lunch boxes, water bottles, towels, small nets, buckets, insect cages, (colored pencils if any)
