"Japan National Lifesaving Championship" & "Fujisawa LIFE FEST"
The 51st Japan National Lifesaving Championship will be held at Katase Nishihama Beach, where lifesavers from across Japan who have won preliminary rounds will compete for the national championship.
Over three days, individual events such as surf races and beach flags will be held, as well as team events such as board rescue and oceanman relay.
Dates: October 11th (Sat) – 13th (Mon/Holiday), 2025
*On Saturday, October 11th, the opening ceremony will be held at 12:30 PM and the awards ceremony will be held at 4:20 PM.

Venue: Katase Nishihama Beach
During the event, “Fujisawa LIFE FEST” will also be held at the adjacent venue.
In addition to various booths and events themed around life and the environment, the event will also feature a food truck from the Enoshima Fisherman’s Marche and a beach cleanup with participants.

Dates: October 11th (Saturday) – 13th (Mon., National Holiday), 2025, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Venue: Katase Nishihama Beach (Shonan Beach Park/Chubu Parking Lot, Umi no Kaze Terrace)
*Admission is free
*The beach cleanup will be held on October 12th (Sun.) from 10:15 AM – 11:30 AM.
