A trip around Uraga “Uraga Dock” where many ships were built and repaired from the Meiji era as one of the “MEGURU PROJECT” and 65 meters above sea level

Guided tours and cruises will be held centering on the “Chiyogasaki Battery”, which has a hill with a good view.

1.  Guided tour around “Uraga Brick Dock” and “Chiyogasaki Battery Ruins”

This is an original guided tour of two representative spots in Uraga, the brick dock and the remains of the Chiyogasaki battery. At the brick dock filled with the feelings of many townspeople, everyone will be fascinated by the spectacular sight. At the site of the Chiyogasaki Battery, which was the coastal battery of the Tokyo Bay Fortress, you can see not only the remains but also the development process of modern architecture and civil engineering technology. We will discuss the culmination of Japanese technology in the Meiji era, which still remains in Uraga.

2. URAGA opening cruise

A guided cruise to enjoy the town of Uraga, a port town that was once crowded with many fishing boats, from the boat. Uraga has been playing an active role as a key to guarding Edo Bay, with the Edo Shogunate setting up a magistrate’s office. From the boat, you can see the town of Uraga, which still retains the bustling atmosphere of those days.
