The Hayama Shibazaki Coast and the surrounding sea area are designated as natural monuments by Hayama Town in a wonderful environment full of rocky reefs and other diverse creatures.
So far, 14 species of sponges, 35 species of annular animals such as sea bream, 300 species of molluscs such as shellfish and sea urchins, 34 species of echinoderms such as sea urchin and sea cucumber, 137 species of fish, and 68 species of powers have been reported. .
