【Odawara】 The 28th Odawara Lantern Summer Festival

“The 28th Odawara Lantern Summer Festival” will be held at Odawara Castle Ruins Park. This event is a big event of summer that symbolizes “Odawara lantern” which has a name in history. The lanterns that were sold at the Odawara in the Tokaido lodging town, which was sold in the Edo period, was characterized by folding bellows shapes, which made it easy for people traveling over Hakone to carry, calling people’s reputation at the time. Festival On both days, many unique events are held, mainly at Ninomaru plaza at the venue.
