Hamamatsuri is a festival that tells Chigasaki the arrival of summer.
Every year, it is held at Chigasaki Nishihama coast on July 3rd Monday (holiday, sea day). At dawn, 39 Shinto shrines of all sizes come together from Chigasaki city and Samukawamachi shrines, and the call of “Sorry, back to back” unique to Aiba Shinto shrine is brave, and the sight of the beach with its narrow beach is spectacular.
