【Yokosuka】 Kannamaru Festival
【Event end】
At the end of the Tokugawa period, Kanrin Maru, whose captain Katsu Seaibu was the captain’s captain, departed from Uraga in the 7th Ansei period (1860), and achieved the first Japanese crossing across the Pacific Ocean. “Kanmadaru Festival” is an event to honor this grand honor at the opening town “Uraga”.
At the stage attractions (dance, folk songs etc), brass band concerts, Tamagotokami competitions and so on are also held. Please come and see us in the pleasant spring weather!
